Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) has issued bonds and securities valued at KWD 240 million ($793.8 million) on Tuesday, according to the latest official data.
The bond issue will be matured in three months on 16 October, with a yield of 2.50%, according to the central bank’s latest data.
Kuwait’s central bank noted that this bond issue was covered 9.35 times with a total value of KWD 2.25 billion.
This bond issue is in compliance with the bank’s issue on 17 April when the bank offered KWD 240 million bonds at a yield of 2.25%.
On Tuesday, the central bank issued KWD 240 million bonds that will be matured in six months with a return of 2.625%, the highest since February 2008.
